For interested parties, the Summerside Amateur Radio Club has accredited examiners who are able to administer all Amateur Radio Examinations on behalf of ISED Canada.
Summerside Amateur Radio Club Examination Guidelines
All examinations will take place at the clubhouse depending on the number of candidates.
For those interested in writing an exam (Basic, Advanced, and/or Morse), please email the club secretary with
your name, email address, evening phone number and exam preference (Basic, Advanced, and/or Morse).
Cost
We charge a fee for each exam attempt to recover the cost for the print ($10).
Procedures
The examiner will go over the procedures. You need to show a piece of photo ID with your PEI address on it, and pay $10 for the examination. You are allowed to bring a non-programmable calculator (not your phone). The exam is closed book, but the allowed reference materials will be provided. There is no time limit. You will get your results right after the exam. You usually receive the invitation from ISED to set up your account and pick your callsign the same day you pass.
