Once again, Azerbaijanian HAMs are permitted to add the special addition of the letter “T”, which means ‘Tragedy’, to their callsigns. For example: 4J7DL would change to 4JT7DL, or 4K3M to 4KT3M, etc….

The activity is to remember the 30th anniversary of one of the most horrific events of the 1990s, the “Khojaly Massacre”, (February 26th, 1992) the biggest war crime in the area of the former USSR.

Activity will last until March 15th. Some of the stations reported on the air are: 4JT3DJ, 4JT6RO, 4KT3M, 4KT5RA, 4KT6EH, 4KT6MAR and 4KT7Z.
