RAC Canadian Portable Operations Challenge Winners for July

Radio Amateurs of Canada is pleased to announce the winners of the RAC Canadian Portable Operations Challenge for July 2021.

They are:

  • First place: Nicolas Gagnon, VE2NCG
  • Second place: Pierre Jolin, VE2GT
  • Third place: Len Morgan, VE9MY
  • Fourth place: Kieran Shepherd, VA3KS
  • Fifth Place: Richard Budny, VA3RSA

Each of the above Amateurs has received a certificate marking their accomplishments.

Congratulations to Nick, Pierre, Len, Kieran and Richard.

The RAC Challenge began on July 1, 2021 to encourage and celebrate portable operations.

The scoring system encourages Amateurs to deploy their portable or mobile stations at multiple locations across Canada.

The RAC Challenge complements a variety of award programs including RAC’s Canada Award, the American Radio Relay League’s VHF/UHF Century Club (VUCC), the Radio Society of Great Britain’s Islands on the Air (IOTA), as well as the Parks on the Air, Summits on the Air and the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society programs.

Lauréats du Défi canadien des opérations portables de RAC pour juillet 2021

Radio Amateurs du Canada a le plaisir d’annoncer le nom des lauréats du Défi canadien des opérations portables de RAC pour juillet 2021.

Il s’agit des amateurs suivants :

  • Première place : Nicolas Gagnon, VE2NCG
  • Deuxième place : Pierre Jolin, VE2GT
  • Troisième place : Len Morgan, VE9MY
  • Quatrième place : Kieran Shepherd, VA3KS
  • Cinquième place : Richard Budny, VA3RSA

Chacun d’entre eux a reçu un certificat indiquant les résultats qu’il a obtenus. Nos félicitations à Nick, Pierre, Len, Kieran et Richard.

Le Défi RAC a été lancé le 1er juillet 2021 pour encourager et célébrer les opérations portables.

Le système utilisé pour l’attribution des points encourage les amateurs à faire fonctionner leur station portable ou mobile à de multiples endroits des diverses régions du Canada.

Le Défi RAC vient s’ajouter à toute une série de programmes de prix, au nombre desquels le Prix RAC du Canada, le Prix VHF/UHF Century Club (VUCC) de l’American Radio Relay League, le Prix Islands on the Air (IOTA) de la Radio Society of Great Britain, les Prix Parcs sur les ondes et Sommets sur les ondes, et le Prix de l’Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society.
