With more and more satellites being launched regularly and quite a few amateur radio satellites in the mix, it has never been a better time to play with satellites
SARL News reports:
Whether it is making contacts, decoding pictures from the ISS, or tracking and decoding telemetry, there is something for everyone. In the spirit of sharing information and creating a South African community around amateur radio we have kicked off a website to gather all kinds of interesting news and information around activities and also a new documentation project to create a central point of information and tutorials for playing with satellites.
These are all relatively new and are “work in progress,” but there is already enough information to get started. This is an attempt to get more interest in satellites to build our local community.
